Good Friday!!!!!

Goodmorning everyone!!!!
Everyone ready for the Big Easter Weekend? What does everyone have planned??
I need handcuffs from all this Easter Candy laying around the house.. Those mini Reeses Peanut butter cups keep hopping in my mouth!! ughhhhh I swear I was in a sugar coma yesterday!
It's a hard weekend, with all the events and gatherings around Egg Hunts, Jelly Beans, Candy and food... Got two egg hunts tomorrow to go to, a Easter Bonfire /cookout tomorrow night.. then a nice small gathering Easter Sunday... ugh. I'll be glad when Monday rolls around!!! My willpower seems to have "hopped" away!

Sandi - snap out of it!  (How was that...did thay help your willpower?!  LOL!)  No big plans for us.  We'll dye eggs tomorrow for the Easter Bunny to hide.  I tried to get kids candy that I really don't like.  Actually, I only got them a little candy and more things like bubbles, coloring book, chalk...stuff from the Dollar store.  I figure if I didn't need the candy, they don't either!  LOL!  I don't even know what we're eating on Easter Sunday.  We're not big ham eaters.  I imagine Mike's Mom will call us tomorrow and invite us out to her house...so we may end up having plans! 

Damn those Reese Cups!! I hear them in the middle of the night calling my name!!

I got good news this morning. I interviewed for a practice manager position yesterday for an internist....well today he personally called me and offered me the job!! YIPEE!
Even though I soooooo enjoyed my 6 month vacation, I am looking forward to this job VERY much. I cant wait to see whats in store for me. There will be challenges Im sure due to the size of the office and I welcome that wholeheartedly. Its a much larger office than Im used to managing so I do have my work cut out for me....

Now Im off to go shopping for clothes...the best part of getting a new job! I hardly have anything that fits...thats money I dont care to spend...haha

HAPPY FRIDAY!!

I guess there is one advantage to having just had my surgery....no interest in the sons candy. EVEN THE WELL LOVED REECES EGGS OR CUPS!  Mom has helped me fill all the eggs and get surprises for my son.  He even said last night he did not expect an egg hunt with me being out of commission.  He is such a trooper.  I told him, no, I will ALWAYS try to make his life as normal as possible. We do a big egg hunt for him and the neighbor girl who is also an only. They have fun.   Got all the basket goodies too so, I am done.!!!
Dinner, well that is another story. I guess I will let them choose since I will be eating veggie beef soup.
Today- a day late- we are taking Gramma to the airport. She is returning to CA after a much to short vist filled with help and love.  I am lucky to have her and I do know it.  We will miss her greatly.
