3 points a day....can YOU do it??
OK, our current Spring Fling challenge is due to expire here in a couple of weeks, right??
I have devised what I THINK is a pretty cool challenge to take it's place that would level the playing field between the various types of WLS we have going on!
Here are my thoughts; Regardless of our particular WLS, we all have three things we need to be doing....
(1) Follow OUR food guidelines,
(2) Drink 64oz of fluids a day
(3) Get at least 30 minutes of (real) exercise (if not more)
The scale will surely move if we follow our rules, right??
How about making a challenge based upon the 3 guidelines and FORGET the scale for an ENTIRE challenge?? We could give ourselves 1 point per items we achieve per day and keep a running tally. We would of course celebrate any and all scale victories, they just wont count for the points.
What about a wager??? I'm thinking a small amount from each of us (maybe a 10 or 15 dollar gift card) to go to the winner for a well-deserved shopping spree.
I propose that those of us who want to play along make a competition out of seeing who can get to 120 points first!
This idea is fairly rough right now and I need input! Should we set an actual number goal or a finish date and simply see who has the highest number at that ending point? Do y'all like the idea of a wager or just bragging rights? What holes in this idea am I not seeing??
Oh yeah, Since we are all on Facebook anyway, I've created a private group that we could use for our daily tracking or we could do it on here....just an option to consider.
Feedback my bariatric babes......give it to me!!!

I love this idea....especially since I am rny and early out so my numbers would be skewed. I am not sure when I will be able to do the exercise part, but I really want to participate as I believe these challenges to be a good thing.
I however, do not facebook. Just a personal thing. But, would still love to participate.

Sign me up! I think it sounds like a neat idea. I like the idea of $10 gift cards. Gives us something to work towards. The points are daily, right? If so, I don't think it needs to have an end date. If someone is perfect everyday, it would be over in 40 days anyway. Great idea, Becka!
