High Protein Dessert

OK - I'm goin out on a limb here but

Ricotta Fluff is incredible

I mixed up

about 8 oz of ricotta cheese
8 oz of heavy cream
and a box of sugar free jello pudding mix (chocolate fudge)

it tastes like a chocolate cheesecake batter so I made a crust for mine out of chopped pecans and butter

it has 5 grams of protein per 1/4 cup for the ricotta alone add the milk and you have a great high protein dessert

of course if you are not malabsorbing fat you could try the low fat ricotta rather than the whole, and use skim milk

it seems like a flexible recipe that would go well with many flavors of pudding/jello mix as well

I even heard a girl talking about mixing the ricotta with sf jello (orange) and then folding in a tub of cool whip and some pineapple for one of those Thelma salad type desserts.

I am really enjoying my chocolate one right now, no sugar = no guilt for me
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

May have to try this one. I used to make mousse with whipping cream beaten and added choc or white choc pudding to it.....kids loved it!

Hi Vicki
That sounds heavenly!!!
I had a simple dessert with ricotta. I had ricotta, vanilla and splenda. Mom mixed it and chilled it together. Oh, my that is tastey.....  So, I will try it with chocolate and then I will have a fix for chocolate too.
Thanks for the encouragement to try different things
