I have a date, I have a date, I have a date.
I keep pinching myself and looking at the papers to make sure that I'm not dreaming. Regina called telling me that I was approved, my date is set for May 7th. I'm so excited!! After things going so slow for so long I guess I expected it to take forever to get approved. I seen the Dr March 17th, had to get the written clearence for surgery from three Dr's, paperwork was sent to insurance March 24 and got the call that I was approved on April 2nd. One more class the 28th and I am set, of course I have a million things to get done between now and then but that is ok as it will make the time fly by. Got my list going of what to take to the hospital, got the sitter lined up already, have to find a hotel by the hospital yet... I can't wait to be a loser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DS on 11/14/12
Lots of CONGRATS!!!!!! Dr Tanner is great! Hope to maybe get to see you at one of the support group meetings!
Congratulations! Get ready for a new life. I am three years out of surgery on May 10th. Lapband. I am down around 80lbs, but I am down 7 dress sizes. I tried on a two piece bathing suit and it fits. I exercise daily, a good day is 2 hours in the gym. Look into getting yourself a pedometer, so you can keep track of all the steps you take. Walking will be your best bet, with warm weather.
i'm so happy for you!! i am seeing dr. tanner on april 17th. for my first appt. would you mind telling me what to expect when i go. i'm so nervous and excited at the same time. i feel like i'm so close but keep expecting something to go wrong. i'll keep you in my prayers and hopefully before too long we will be seating together on that famous losers bench.
