Donna,

It is a small world isn't it?  Most people haven't heard of Harlan, KY let alone Cawood.  Most people that have heard of Harlan have only heard negative things.

I am just waiting for a surgery date.  I've been approved by the insurance company for surgery at St Luke but I understand that won't work for Georgetown.  Hopefully my new approval will take as short of time as your approval.  When I delivered all my records on Wed. they said that Dr S hoped for the 13th.  I don't know that I want to be the first one but if offered ....  The only thing they told me was we'll have Steve Napier call you.  Did you know Dr. Lisa West-Smith is moving to the Georgetown Bariatrics as well as Steve?  I hope St Luke realizes the assets to their practice they have lost.

I live in Florence, Ky.  Not That far from Monroe, OH.

Val,
My insurance approval was done for St. Luke also.  But Catherine at Georgetown had it switched to Georgetown.  I did not have to send anything back through insurance for another approval.  I wish I could have taken the week of the 13th but my husband is in firearms training to get a teaching certificate to teach firearms at police acadamies.....anyway I had to wait 2 more weeks.  Yes, I knew about Dr. West-Smith, she is actually there already, along with Steve and April.  I don't know if St. Lukes realizes what they have lost yet or not.....but I know they have lost a ton of business.....And as far as Harlan..... My granny lived in Wallins.  She is buried in Resthaven cemetary in Loyal.  I have a couple of aunts and uncles on my Moms side who live in Cawood.  it is a small world.....Keep me informed on your progress.....
Hugs....Donna
