The mystery of the fills

It really seems odd that most fills don't show up all at once. Mine like many of yours show up a week or so afterward. One thing I have learned is the need to eat really solid food, my staples like cottage cheese and tuna salad just slide right through. Yesterday I ate a full cup of spaghetti(mostly meat) and just felt a little full.   With 7.5 in my  10cc band I don't  think Dr Tanner will add anymore fluid for a while. I have never gotten stuck ,PB or slimed, but things feel a little tight if I gulp my food. Another thing is I am finding I definitely have trigger foods. Peanut butter on Wasa, SF pudding w/SF cool whip call my name every night. They aren't really bad choices for snacks , but I can eat 2 or more easily. The same numbers have been bouncing up and down on my scales for months  so I am trying to limit myself to ONLY solids with one snack at night (if I exercise 30 min. that day) Anyone that says this is the easy way out is so misinformed. All that said, I love my band , it has made me 40 lbs lighter than this time last year. Thanks for reading  and always being somewhere I can vent.

Annie, I am finding all the same as you.  I have "trigger" foods, stuck foods and routines I must stick to as I proceed on this journey day by day.  I have 8.5cc in my band and I think I am borderline "too tight" vs. just right.  I know if I don't mind my P's and Q's I do slime, get stuck, PB or simply just feel horrible.  In Wisconsin, on a business trip I made a co-worker pull over so I could puke in downtown Milwaukee-right in the street....in front of 2 other co-workers.  I had eaten turkey a day after flying and I knew I should not eat solids after flying for 24 hours (just me, personally).  However, salads seem to go right through with no fullness at all.  I do eat almost 8 ounces at a time many times; but I also pay attention to what it is, what the calories are and how I feel when I eat it.
The scale stops frequently and that is also my trigger to change my routine, add more water or pay closer attention to what carbs I am eating and decrease them :o).  This is SUCH a learning adventure, is it not????  :o)
This board is wonderful!

I have food obsessions for example a few weeks ago I ate cheddar cheese from a cheese and cracker tray at a party and the next thing I knew I was a eating a block of it every 2 days. Not so good on the waist line but I probably built up some calcium. O think my food obsessions got me to where I am now

Yeah...I thought it was just me for a long time! I love salad too but have learned to eat it after I get in the protein as a filler! George suggested that. Or was it one of the nutritionists. I cannot wait to see Dr this month. I would love to see where I am according to his records. I show I have lost on my scale but his is a whole diff ballgame! As long as it is going down...the scale...I am happy.
