Anyone approved with anthem. bmi of 37.4 and sleep apena

YES!  I have Anthem Blue Access PPO (KY) and I was approved at a BMI of 37 and obstructive sleep apnea.  HOWEVER, I had to appeal twice and request a peer-to-peer review with my physician and the Anthem PPO physician.  It was not easy, I had to hoop jump but I did get it done.  MAKE YOUR APPEAL about a person, not about why they should pay for the procedure...make it about YOU.  PM me if you have more questions.

Be very familiar with their policy which you can look up on line at anthem.com and sign in.  There is a local policy for the PPO that has all the details in it.  If you are familiar with the policy you can write a better appeal.
