The newest LOSER is home!!

I'm home!  Just got home about 15 minutes ago.  I'm sore around the port area, but other than that, I'm okay.  I honestly am really tired...didn't get to sleep much at the hospital.  My stupid IV pump alarm kept going off.  Then, as soon as I would finally get settled, someone would come in and wake me up for something.  So, I'm tired today.  Would love to lay down, but my kiddos missed me.  I'll just go to bed early tonight. 
OH!  Thanks for my cards from you all.  That was so sweet!  The lady brought me a whole stack of them in to me this morning when I was talking to Connie (the Bariatric nurse).  She recognized many of you!  I told her all about all my OH friends! 
Okay, going to go catch up on everything and then need to get up and move.  Still having a few gas pains.

Kelly!!!!!  So glad you are home and doing well.  I am sorry I missed your big day but I have ot had internet access since Sunday night.  Sounds like everything went well and I am scooching over for yuo on eht bench!  SO HAPPY FOR YOU!  Now....let's get Teach on board and the KY board will be rockin!

Ok I'm a complete dork, cause I had my appt with Dr Allen today and was going to come say hi, until I finally found out you were at a different hospital (Suburban)..LOL... Sorry about that.. But i was THINKING OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!
Gas pains will linger, I had them for like 2 weeks, got worse when I laid down..
I'm so glad your home and recovering!!! Get some rest!!!

Glad you're home and feeling so good.  Remember to walk to help those gas pains.  I slept propped up by pillows the first night home too.  That seemed to help.  Get as much rest as you possibly can tonight.  That helps too.  Call me if you need anything.

Thanks, guys!  I didn't sleep very well last night.  Had to get up and walk in the middle of the night, was getting really sore.  My muscle that the port is on is freakin' sore.  That's the only thing that really hurts.  Everywhere else is nothing.  I am also having to learn how to eat!  I think I ate to much soup last night.  Felt way full and didn't want anything the rest of the night.  Going to measure things out today!  Other than that, doing ok.  No gas pains in the shoulder, just rumbling my tummy and intestines.  (Only you all I could share that with!  LOL!)  Gonna get out and walk a little in the neighborhood today...just walkin' out all the rumbles!!  LOL!
