Thanks so much.  Those last few pounds to get over that 200 pound mark are hard but it's so worth the fight.

that's great!  but honestly I think you look so great now, you look like someone at goal already - I'm with ya on these last few pounds girl, you inspired me though, I've been walking twice in the past few days and we are getting the bowflex moved here in the next few days so I can build back a little tone, yanno?  Congrats - you deserve it
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

Thanks to everyone.  You guys are all awesome.  I really believe I wouldn't be here without each and every one of you.  I'm so glad to call you my friends.

Congratulations Laura!  You are a real inspiration!  I can hardly wait until I can say  I'm under 300, but to be under 200 is fantastic!   It'll still be awhile for me.  Even so, I was really proud to get on my doctor's scales today (I went for a sinus infection) and found I had lost a great deal more weight than what my bathroom scales were saying a couple of days ago.  This is marvelous - now I just wish I had some cartilage in my knees so I could jump up and down or take a long walk or something athletic like you're doing.  My family doc told me today that I might as well get to goal weight before I see the knee surgeon though - but this is coming off so fast I am starting to believe again!

Thanks.  You'll be able to say you're under 300 pounds in no time and it won't take that long to say you're under 200.  When I had my surgery, I weighed 337 and today it was 200 (with clothes on).  I weighed my clothes and put on the clothes that weigh the least.  My kitchen scale is big enough to do this.  I thought that I would fall under 200 at the doctor's but it didn't happen this time.  It will for sure next time though.

Keep on believing, it will happen.
