Burning about St. Luke!

Last week I went to the Women’s Health Center at St. Luke Hospital. I ask for Mrs. Sonnanstine (I had read on here she worked there) I was told she no longer works for St. Luke. I thought nothing of it knowing Dr.Tom has a new job in Georgetown. I had hoped to give her a good luck message on their new future. I often get together with a few RNYers. One of which works at St. Luke, she told us that Mrs. Sonnanstine was asked to leave. That the entire staff was upset this happened, as she was so well liked.  Then they tell me she (Mrs. S) stopped by the weight loss center to give a gift to someone there. While sitting in the waiting room which was empty at the time. She was approached by management and escorted out of the waiting room!!!!! THEN, I heard that Dr. Smith is charging something like $300-350.00 dollars for a band fill. What on earth has happened to St. Luke? What have they done to our center? I want no part of it. I will follow Dr. Tom to the end of the earth.   I hope he reads this board so I can say “GOOD LUCK" Dr. Tom to you and your family. We miss you so much already.

Hey there Kit!!   I can confirm some of what you know about Mrs. S...and will leave it at that.

My husband and I had lunch with Dr. and Mrs Sonnanstine today.  Because of his mood I am not that apt to go off on any of this.  His mood is cheerful ...I have not seen him this excited about anything in a long time.  He is so busy and so into what's going on in Gtown that he hasn't had time to do much of anything else.  They talked about working at their house, packing up stuff and getting it ready to sell.  They talked about the new house they are putting a bid on.  He talked about his new office ...how he is now incorporated as "Central Kentucky Advanced Surgery medical"  He is excited about Steve joining him in his new office and then he told me that Dr. Lisa West-Smith put in her resignation at St. Luke and is following him to Georgetown.  He is busy hiring new staff for his office, as well as picking out furniture for it..  And watching the two of them is so cute..they are so happy right now..both are beaming  ( do men beam?)  lol
I don't believe at this time he has time or the energy to worry about what's going..his attitude is pretty much.."out with the old, in with the new"...
Unfortunately just as we finished our lunch by SIL called to tell me they called an ambulance for my mom..she was admitted with Congestive Heart Failure.  I just got home..am exhausted andwhen done with this am going to bed!
I am working on some webpages for him..if you google his name you will find some of those. 
also, he was to send me his new phone numbers..I would imagine I will have those by tomorrow. I will send those numbers if anyone would like to have them....and he has an email addess he is using for some of the marketing stuff.  It's ok with him if I share that with you...This is NOT a secure email address so please do not send him any medical questions ...but he will read, may not reply...but will read and welcome ..well wishes and such.   He told me he only checks it about once a week..

And being one of the "out with the old" having been "left to deal with the aftercare" following surgery that ended in infection and continued problems... I hope things go well at GTown.
