I had the BEST time last night!!  I never thought we could pull of a gathering of 14 WLS folks and all their spouses and kids too!!

I was talking to Richard afterwards and told him that this is the first time I've really ever had a GROUP of people I can truly call my friends.  I have one non-WLS friend that I've had forever but even in High School it was usually only me and one or two other gals at the most.  I didn't keep in contact with anyone from either high school or college so this is really a first for me and I have to say I REALLY REALLY feel blessed.  I actually teared up when I explained this to Richard last night and now he understands why I can be on the computer flipping back and forth between OH and Facebook and have another one I'm texting on my phone at the same time! 

I can't wait till the Chicago OH event when 6 of us ladies are planning a weekend long pajama party!!

LOL...I was so tired and sore that I practically fell into bed once we got there last night.   We spent several hours before moving furiture, cooking and cleaning that around midnight it all hit me and the arthritis flared up.  I woke up still hobling.  I think I'm going to pop another darvocet and claim the recliner as mine for a couple of hours!

Rich and Becka...thanks for hosting...as always it was so much fun and your hospitality is very much appreciated! You always make everyone feel at home!  Girls...I love you guys! I really do! When we get together like this it just re-confirms my beliefs that there are people out there like me and they understand! Black hole uterus and all! I know my questions may have sounded ignorant to some, but again...I needed someone to explain something and Sonja had the answer! Maybe I will feel better about trying out that nightie ensemble Michelle gave me! I tried it on last night and loved it!

Does anyone know if there are more people interested in going to Chicago event? I know that 6 people are going already and I think if I tagged along it would be an odd number and throw everything off. I really would like to go though. So let me know....

Oh Danyell!!

Please go even if we don't get another body!  We can split the rooms up however or just add another airmatress on the floor between the two conecting rooms.  Just think of the havoc we could wreck on that convention!

Dannyell go with us.  We can always make room for one more.  We'll have such a good time.

I agree with everyone above.  I had a really fun time.  On the way home I said to Michael, "You know...in the Fall they have a Talley Tater Fest and launch potatoes with a spud launcher."  And he said, "We might have to come back for that!"  LOL!  I liked meeting you all and you all giving me tips about what's to come with my surgery!  You all are a bunch of awesome people!
