Is anyone going tonight?

GOOD LUCK ROBERT   AFTER THE SEMINAR I TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT IT WAS REALLY NEAT SEEING SO MANY MEN AT THE SEMINAR.  I HAD MY SURGERY ALMOST THREE AND A HALF YEARS AGO.  I HAVE NEVER LOOKED BACK.  I HAVE HAD NO MAJOR PROBLEMS.  ITS WEIRD, ITS ONLY BEEN A LITTLE OF 3 YEARS AND MY KIDS AND CO WORKERS AND FRIENDS JUST DON'T REMEMBER ME BEING 311LBS.  I THINK IT HAS TO DO WITH HOW I AM NOW.  I ALWAYS FELT INVISIBLE,  BUT I AM NOT ANMORE.

Hey Jane, I think it's all in the way you live.  Compliance along with changing your lifestyle makes for a new you.  You look great and I know you are compliant and feel great.  You live the "tool" you were given.  This is a lifestyle that you have to love.  When not the old ways come creeping back.
You are an inspiration to many.

Hey Brenda, Jane, and All!

WOW!  What a shock!  I have not been to any support meetings lately because Paula has been out of a job for a long time, and I have been working 2 full-time jobs for months.  I had no idea anything was happening until I received a letter in the mail!  I too want to follow Dr. Tom!  I have many questions..  If I transfer my records to Georgetown, what then happens in an emergency if I need to be taken to St. Luke.  I also have a question about insurance.  Would Dr. Tom be considered "Out of Network"? 

I need to hop in the shower and get going.  I'll check later.  I get home about 11:30 every evening.  Can't wait until summer when I am working just the one job!!  LOL

Robert, Dr. Tom did my Realize Band surgery in June and I was out golfing the next week.  Although I am upset he's leaving florence, but I, like many of his patients, will be following him to Georgetown.  I think that alone is testament to him not only as a surgeon, but his involvement with his patients.

BigP, that's one of the many reasons that I have chosen him to be my surgeon.  Georgetown I think has one of the best facilties, I have heard very little, if any, negative things about it.

I spent time with him..maybe 2 yrs. before he operated on me. Knowing all that I did about him I knew he was the only one that could help me with my plastic surgery disaster.  After my husband saw his work, he told me one night he wanted Dr. Tom to place the realize band in him.  it will be 1 yr. in June.  He is doing so well.....I love the band and I had RNY..
