OH day at Holiday World/Splashin' Safari!
Just popping over to let you know we're having an OH day at Holiday World/Splashin' Safari on Saturday, June 6, 2009. We get in for $24.95 a person to be paid the morning of the event (that rate is for anyone in our party; not just OHers). I'm working on room rates and will post them when I have everything finalized. We usually meet for breakfast at St. Nick's restaurant the morning of the event just to group up and meet everyone before heading over to the parks. The owner of the restaurant gives post-ops a fantastic rate on the breakfast buffet. I think it was $2.99 last year!
All I need is a relative head count so if you plan to attend, please let me know.

Wanted to post on the KY board as well to let everyone know over here that we had such a wonderful time last year! This is such a great price, and the more of us to get together, the more fun we will have!

Absolutely! The more the merrier! If you've never been to Holiday World, you'll be happy to know it's voted the #1 park for friendliness and cleanliness. As a mom, that means so much to me. I can't imagine how they keep their bathrooms so clean but they do! I do love my parks! Invite as many as you want!

Holiday World has a lot of perks other than being the friendliest and cleanest parks (these awards are given by Amusement Today). They also have free, unlimited soft drinks (pepsi products), free sunscreen and free parking! They have the #1 and #3 wooden roller coasters in the WORLD! It really is a great park.
I'll have a table set up at the gate for the first hour the park is open. Last year they had a great sign that said HOLIDAY WORLD WELCOMES OBESITYHELP.COM! If you get there after we've left the table, you can go to customer services and get your tickets. That's why I need to know the approximate number of people attending.
