Lucky number seven??
I am 16 months out and had my 7th fill today bringing my fill level up to 3.9cc in a 4cc band, YIKES!
My last fill was seven months ago back in August and I'd lost 19 pounds. I've been noticing it's time for an adjustment for a while now and was able to convince the doc I needed one as well! I'm sure that my weight loss could have been more but I lost my focus around October and have been batting the same 4 pounds back and forth since then. I'm hoping this fill will get me back in the right frame of mind and help get me too goal sometime this summer (that's 24 pounds....I can do that right?).
AS he was doing the fill he told me he was putting in an additional .3cc. Well I was doing the math in my head and did my own personal "freak" since I was SURE that would be too much. I was VERY nervous when he had me drink the Dixie cup of water since I was only wanting about .1 or .15cc. I was able to feel the puddle in my chest area but it drained down easily. He told me this was good and "to call if I had any issues, otherwise, see you in 5 weeks"!
I cam home and was hungry (it was an earlier appointment time than my usual so I didn't get to have breakfast) so I had a yogurt. I took baby bites, swished it around, swallowed and it went down fine!
Supper was thinned down and pureed bean-n-bacon soup which also went down fine. I'm anxious to try mushies tomorrow since the fluids don't hang around too long and I'm already thinking about making a hot chocolate CIB!
The true test is when I go back to solids in a couple days!
Wish me luck and it's a good thing I'm making chili for Saturday in case i'm not back to solids by then, huh?!
