Tricare

Hi.   I'm looking for people who had their surgery done in Ky using Tricare as their insurance.   I've run into some issues and would like some input.   I know that when I started all this in Oct/Nov, that Dr. Sonnanstine was a Tricare Provider, but now it seems he has disappeared from the list.   Any ideas?

I believe he has moved centers...
just ask about him on this board.  where he has gone.
I had tricare and just got my date.
I had some difficulty, but would be willing to answer any questions.

good luck

He moved to Georgetown.   They are a tricare network provider, but if he is not, I still cannot use him....

I'm using standard and will be going to a civilian provider.   I'm mostly curious about people's experiences using them and if there are any things I should watch out for...

Dr.Sonnanstine done my surgery and i had tricare.
Did you talk to them at Georgetown?
Maybe because he is new to Georgetown he isnt in the tricare program yet.
Did you call tricare and see if they had any drs in your area that did take tricare?
Good luck sweetie

My experience with TriCare was Prime, but I do not think it is any different for this.
Like the other posters I would suggest you call the office in Georgetown, they have come HIGHLY recommended to me.
Is Georgetown too far?
Try doctor Geller at USA in Louisville? my friends have used him and liked him a great deal

That is great to hear!   How did you get them to approve your "tummy fix".   I am assuming getting rid of hanging skin?

Thanks for the info.   I'll do just what you suggested.   I know I'll need it because I already do!
