just my opinion

I know that a lot of people are upset about the situation with Dr. Tom, I was also a patient of his and was very upset when I found out that he was leaving, but no matter what the situation is or who we feel is at fault for it, there are still some of us who though we may want to follow him to Georgetown just can't do it. I am not holding it against the new surgeons at the WLC that are there to help us, because that is all they want to do. I met with Dr. Carey Brown on thurs bc I was due for a fill and he(yes it is a he) was very kind and professional, and sincere. But I just wanted to let those of you who are concerned about having to stay with St luke I would recomend Dr. Brown, even though I loved Dr Tom as my doctor I can't drive that far to go and see him as much as I would love to I just can't. I hope I don't come across to anyone as being an ad for the new dr's I just wanted people to know that it is ok if you can't follow dr. tom, I felt very comfortable with dr brown.

Our Dr are like gold to us...we hold them near and dear. I am glad that you found someone that you can feel secure with to take over your care. Its good to get feedback from everyone on their experiences. Thats how we learn!
