Meeting with Dr. Sonnanstine

Yesterday, I was scheduled for a fill with Dr. Sonnanstine, but it was cancelled.  I was also scheduled for my yearly pap smear at the Womans Center at St. Luke West.  Went in for my physical at 8:30.  I always do mine with the nurse practioner, did not pay any attention to her name.  She was looking at my chart, noticed I had, had lap band surgery and asked where I had, had it.  I said here at St. Luke with Dr. Sonnanstine.  She said, "I am his wife."   Really caught me off guard, the tears began to poor.  The events of the week had gotten to me more than I had realized.  It will be 3 years in May that he had given me the tool to lose the weight that I so desperately needed to lose.  I am still working toward my goal, but he is a big part of my plan.  I go to him every 2 to 3 months for a fill and a boost of confidence that I can do this.  Mrs. Sonnanstine gave me permission to tell everyone that I had talked to her.  They are moving to Georgetown.  He will begin practicing with the Bariatric Center in the hospital, hopefully by the 1st of April.  I have my name on the list in Georgetown, to be called when he begins scheduling appointments.  I also went and got a copy of my records at St. Luke.  Mrs. Sonnanstine, said for us to be watching the local newspaper for a meeting to be held between Dr. Sonnanstine, Georgetown hospital and his patients.  It is scheduled for March 13th at the Hyatt in Florence.  She did not have a time.  If you cannot find it in the paper, if you call the Hyatt, they will have the time.  Hopefully they will be able to answer everyones questions.  Dr. Sonnanstine, thank you for all of your concern and care for each of your patients.  Mrs. Sonnanstine, thank you for listening to me on Thursday.  I can tell you are both very concerned for the welfare of all people.  I wish you luck in Georgetown, it is a very nice town to raise a family.    God does work in mysterious ways, I was suppose to meet her and pass on this experience.  I am blessed.

It's going to be held at the Hilton next Friday the 13th at 7pm across the street from the hospital..  This session is actually a Georgetown event, their folks will probably be doing most of the talking about their facility and program.. but they have ask Dr. Sonnanstine to be a guest speaker. 

Brenda thanks for the correction, I wouldn't want people to go to the wrong place.  I was a little emotional when I was talking with Mrs. S.   She is a great lady!  Thanks for the time also.  I will be there.

Wow...how very very smart of Georgetown to come here. 

I will be there!!  If nothing more than to just show support!  Everyone and anyone that you can bring with you....COME!!  Lets flood this place with Dr. S patient's and show them how special he really really is!!  This is the best statement we can make.

THE BUZ IS FINALLY GOOD.  I'LL BE THERE..........GEORGETOWN ISN'T THAT FAR, WE WENT THERE YESTERDAY TO SHOP.  WE LOVE THE ANTIQUE MALL.  CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HIM.
