Dr. Sonnanstine

Does anyone have any updates on his situation?    I have tried to contact him and Georgetown, both with no luck.   His staff at st. lukes said they didn't expect him to being surgery in Gtown until June.   I don't want to wait until June, but I also don't want to switch docs.......

I got an email from G-Town yesterday saying that he will begin working ther April1 - not sure when he will begin doing surgeries there.

There is a fine line with his start date.  Right at this moment Dr. Sonnanstine is still employed at St. Luke, until that situation is resolved he can't officially start in Georgetown.  Just details that will hopefully worked out with in the next few days.
My husband and I got our charts today.

Maybe Katrina and Budda will be going and will take me. Not sure how I would handle it emotionally after the way this all went down and being loss in the politics of it all.

I believe you sent me an email yesterday on this...I copied all of Georgetown's info in the email with address, phone number, and website.  Did you not get the email?  He is going to start surgeries in April.  And if you have files you need to get from St. Luke go ahead and get them and send them to Georgetown.  They will call you and start scheduling you.  I picked mine up to day and sent them on their way.  Good Luck!  Hugs.....

You need to read my post.  I met Mrs. S yesterday and she gave me permission to post that they will be having a meeting at the Hyatt, in Florence on Friday March 13th (don't know time)  Watch the paper for a public notice or call the Hyatt and see if they have a time.  If I find out I will post.

I  called to tell him it was announced on the boards..his wife called to tell me..it's official..he is no longer an employee at St. Luke so he will be starting in Georgetown April 1st.!!!!!!  They are so excited.

Thanks so much for all the updates!!!   I am so happy it seems I'll still be able to have him as my surgeon.  

I wasn't notified that Dr. Tom had left St Luke.I found out fromanother patient.
