It's almost time to PARTY!!!

Time to get some REAL plans rolling for our upcoming party at Rich and Becka's house on 3/14/09!

Here's the list is have for now.  Are there any changes or additions?

That's 36 people!!!  This is going to be a blast!!

I'm thinking we could still do the chili and wiennie roast thing but I'm also wanting to do a little grilling.  How about some grilled chicken and maybe Michelle can come up with a great vegetarian idea for us?

Let's plan on gathering around 6pm so we have a little daylight before we light the campfire.  My Wii is on the fritz so if I can't get it fixed before the party can someone bring theirs?  The $ game that Kelly mentioned I REALLY like.  What do y'all think about doing a small clothing exchange as well?  

Lets get some talk going on this so I know what to do.  I've grounded Richard from going to the drag races this weekend to get ready for it.  hopefully the weather will be decent.  If it rains we will just end up having a house party to end all house patries!!

I'm not sure if I'll have the family or not... My hubby said.., LOL he won't know anyone and doesn't want to just be the "Babysitter" of our kids..LOL... but let me talk  to him more and see if I can convince him....I will let you know for SURE!!!!!

Who else is bringing their husbands??? 

Oh Pish-Posh!!!

Tell him most of the hubbys won't know each other so he won't be in that boat all by himself.  WE will have poker, billiards, Wii, a second big screen with something else to watch (movie, UFC, whatever) the whole "man-cave experience for the gearheads, a stocked pond BEGGING to be fished, food, bonfire, and whatever else we can think of!

I get tired (and excited) just thinking about it all!

Sandi why would he have to babysit????? at the party  those kids will be off playing and paying no mind to kids.   I took Jason with us this fall and he made friends in no time and was off adventuring newfound friends and fun

Becka....lets do it! I am gonna be climbing walls soon..I can tell already!  I think a clothing exchange would be great! it would be a great way to do a trial run for an even bigger one down the road! Besides....my closets could use a good going through!    Here are some tips for getting your stuff ready for one.......

1) Do not bring anything with rips, holes, stains, etc.....If you do not want to wear it ~no one else will either.

2) Everything should be folded and sorted by sizes...18,22,24 etc....

3)When you arrive...place your items on the corresponding tables  such as size 18 on the 18 table. This will make it easier on everyone and "shopping" time goes smoother!

4) Clothes, shoes, purses, belts, etc...are appreciated and can be set in another area.

5) If anyone has anything special that they are looking for...post it! Never know what someone may have that you are in need of!

Becka...hope you don't mind me posting this info! You still have all those tables right?

They belong to the neighbor but I can get them in a flash!

ok...you get the tables and I will bring the signs etc......for them.  I have not forgot your nuts Richie! Lol...may bring a sweet treat as well...sugar free of course!

If people could post what sizes they are needing, then those of us with stuff to give can know what to bring.  I have a ton of stuff,  I would hate to drag it all there if no one needs it. 

I will start ... I could use sizes 16 & 14 if anyone has those.

Ok...I can wear anything from a 26 to a 22 so bring what you have. Also...anything left over that no one wants to take back home or deal with will be taken to a couple of charities for donation.

Becka you need some help????  Only thing I have going next week is Monday to Dr. Rod.  Do you need us to bring stuff and what... I know you get antsy about details and whos bringing what.  lol      Clothing exchange would be nice
