she sent me a text also saying she was hurting i knew she was feeling bad or she whould have told them i want my meds now.

Vickie, I am glad you were there for her; how wonderful of you.  Good to hear she is doing okay.  Thank you for keeping us posted!

I'm glad she made it through the surgery okay but I hate that's she's in pain.  I would not know that I had to ask for pain meds either.  Thanks for letting us know that Becka.

Vicki...you will love this...they finally brought in my percocet at 7:30! Two hours or so of waiting. Needless to say the nurse got an ass ripping and then went and got me a shot of morphine as well. I got another dose or percocet at 1:00 and then requested something at 4:   and got it at 8:30! Dr B got to hear all about it when he came in and I guess ripped them because I was offered meds every two hours after that! They finally got the inflateable boots on me at 3:30 this am..kinda late huh! if it had not been for Dale I would have had no help at all! He was great!
i really appreciated all the posts, cards, text msgs, and calls....I also have my flowers here on my desk! Pretty! Pretty!  I feel loved by all of ya and really appreciate and cherish your friendship!

That is totally bull crap I wish I stayed and I would have been on their ass myself.   I would also make a formal complaint to the administration of the hospital

 I just thank God for Dr. Tom Sonnanstine, when I had my gallbadder out I had an on-Q pain pump.  Never needed any other pain meds.  He is a truly wonderful doctor.  I hope Lee Ann and  Becka are now pain free.
