How is everyone doing, medical-issues wise?
I went and had my kideny stones removed last friday. They went up and got them. The surgery wasn't bad at all. I was so hyper after I got out of surgery. I came home and cleaned house and done lots of laundry. I didn't pass much blood at all and it didn't burn too bad when I went and peed. I was also able to meet Leslie and Lisa for lunch the next day ! I go back on the 19 th of March to see what kind of stones I had. He said he removed 2. So I'm doing pretty good now. I feel so much better now that Stoney and Stonetta are gone.

I guess being a year out, I can't complain to much, except I stay tired alot and can lay down anywhere and sleep now, used to I never took naps through the day, now I wanna take one every day. I have a family dr. appt. next week, and then the week after my yearly surgeons visit, maybe they will do bloodwork and see what is going on.
Holli, glad you are feeling so much better, if you don't care send me that number of your dr,. for my brother. talk to you soon,

I am keeping my BP up with meds.
Working on keeping my blood sugar up. I eat at least 6 times a day and carry my glucometer to do regular checks.
Have had some more lab work done and had a Helter Monitor done. Will be following up with the Dr. on March 16. Until then, I am on light duty at work due to dizziness and fainting which is associated with my blood sugar bottoming out.
Otherwise I am doing well and I have a very positive outlook!

Everyone sounds pretty good - hope Becka is recovering from her GB surgery and that Dannyell has gotten better - I also read that some other folks were down with the flu, etc. I'm okay - just not eating right - being out of town and in a hotel for 10 days is killer. Bill Cosby is our final night entertainment tomorrow - looking forward to seeing him and then having 2 "vacation" days to explore DC!!
Hi!
I'm doing fine too. They plucked out Pebbles and Bam Bam on Friday morning and I got an overnight stay out of the deal! The most amazing thing about it all was that I had the SWEETEST hospital staff who wanted to help and didn't roll their eyes even once!
Dr. Larson told me when he came to discharge me that the ultrasound tech mistakenly took one stone for two but the stone was about the size of a grown man's thumb pad. He also said the gall bladder itself was discolored and full of sludge so it REALLY did need to come out.
I was off the pain killers by Sunday morning and back on the streets Monday!
My biggest problem since then it getting all my "other" systems in working order once again.
