weight gain
Hi everyone.
i was just wondering if any one has gained weight on their 6 month supervised diet. i gained 1.5 lbs in jan, and this time i know ive gained
. because i have had knee surgery and i have been off work for about 2 1/2 weeks now. been on my bike but don't know if im supposed to with my knee
.im goin to kings daughters, and thursday is my last class with them, what will they do? do i have to take the class over again? has anyone had this issue.

My last weigh in is Friday and I think I've lost a total of 3 pounds. Dr. Gellar told me not to worry about it, so I haven't. I don't know about the program you're talking about, but I don't think they would make you do anything over again. The 6 month diet is for your insurance. I think you're fine.

As far as gaining on your 6 month supervised diet, don't worry about it. All it is showing is that you were working with your doctor to make an attempt to lose weight. I don't know anything about KDMC. After your next weigh in (if its your last one) don't gain anymore weight if you can help it. I think a lot of surgeons frown when someone gains weight before surgery.

i went today and i had gained just 3 lbs i though it was so much more, they said i didn't have to take the class over since i was down overall. and i asked at the doc office what other test i had to do they said i didn't have to do anymore, i thought i had to do a stress test, and she ask me did he tell you you needed one and i said no i thought it was required. but she said i had done all the tests i needed and made me an appointment with the doc. i guess now just wanting for approval from insurance. time for nerves to set in.
