Has anyone had success with anthem bc/bs? paying for the lap band?

Lisa I had Anthem and they paid for lapband. Just have to meet their criteria and make sure your policy has WLS coverage and that its not an exclusion

Hi I had thr RNY Bypass and they paid most on most of my surgery ! Just gotta do what they want.

Anthem BCBS paid for my lap band 3 1/2 months ago. Had to jump their hoops, but they paid.

I have Anthem BC/BS but it's an individual (self-employed) policy and there is a hardfast exclussion for bariatrics in there so I ended up being self-pay. It was still worth every penny!

My insurance does not cover weight loss but i was told, if you have the right billing codes you can get approved. Is this true for any one out there?
