Hubby left today....
YOu and you family are in my prayers. Also congratulations on your first month. That is an awsome weight loss. At 3 years out I still jump on the board every now and then. I still wake up and wonder if the dream is over. I swear I wake up and I am scared that I am back over 300 pounds.

I just have to take a deep breath and say a prayer of thanks for people like you and your husband who are willing to sacrifice time together to protect our country. I am so glad that you have had your surgery and are recovered well enough to get to the gym and take care of yourself. And like the others have said, you have a goal to work toward - to get healthier and slimmer and to wow your husband when he returns!
I need to start keeping a food log too - I tried that The Daily Plate website and can't keep up with it - I just need to put it down on paper I think. If you find a good way of logging your food and protein let me know.
