Hubby left today....

and I am SOOOO Sad. I realized about an hour ago that I hadn't eaten or drank anything since yesterday. So I downed about 20 ounces of fluid and am sipping now. I forgot how hard him leaving is. We have been through deployments twice already and I still feel like this is the first time. He is in Georgia for a week and then leaves for Iraq on his birthday. The greatest thing about this surgery is that I am not able to eat my feelings anymore. I remember eating 3 double cheeseburgers when he left the second time. I am forcing myself to eat today.

Speaking of weight....

Yesterday I was officially 1 month post op. I am down 28 lbs. Is this a good amount of weight. I am walking or doing my Wii Fit daily. I am adding the gym starting on Monday and finally buckling down to keep a food log, and moniter my Protein.

AND

I am so glad everyone is feeling better (Becca, Holli, Vicki) Sorry if I forgot anyone!!!
Sol, I am SO glad things are getting better with hubby. And if they are not we can always BOYCOTT!!!

I gotta go make a cake for a customer!! Talk to you ladies later and hope that you guys are enjoying your weekend...

awww Tiff I can't even imagine what its like to have to see him leave.   Its hard being in the military even as a military brat it was hard on I and my siblings moving over and over but course my Dad was never deployed anywhere that he didnt drag us with him.

We are all here to help you and just think when hubby comes back you will be lookin good Momma he won't know what hit him when he gets home.

Oh Tiffany Im sorry. I know that cuts to the quick, letting him go like that. I so could not be a Army Wife.. you ladies are amazingly strong women..
But on the bright side, you keep loosing like that and He wont recognize you when he gets home.. he will be bowled over!!!
Like Vicki said, we are here if you need us for anything!!

Army personnel and their spouses have nothing but complete respect from me.  It's something I absolutely couldn't do.  Mr.  E is a Desert Storm veteran and I'm proud of him for that but also thankful that it was all before we met.

Congrats on the weightloss but please do remember to eat silly!

If you need filler time while hubby is gone maybe you can start hanging out with us from time to time!!

Tiif, I am sorry to hear this.  My daughter is married to a man in the Air FOrce (she is as well but currently not active) and he is being deployed 4 weeks after their first baby is born.  My heart goes out to you and how hard it is.  We are here for you!   He won't recognize you when he gets home....he is going to come home to some hot model!

my heart goes out to you, I have been through deployments myself, with no family around it was probably the hardest thing I ever went through, but it made me a stronger more independent person, and it will do the same for you, just hang in there girlfriend, and be glad you can't eat your emotions this time!!!
We are here for you, if you need us.
and congratulations on the weight loss, you will be one hot mama when he gets back!!!

Tiffany,
We are here for you!  Like Vicki, I'm a military brat as well.  I know how hard it was on my Mom and us.  He will, as will you, be in my prayers!
(On another note...congrats on the weight loss!)
