We need some fun; so we are ....
Going to Nashville on Monday. DH has had one H**L of a year, and has decided to go do something he enjoys with our son and some friends.
So....they are kicking up their heels and going to see...UGH (not my cup of tea)...a wrestling show. They got pretty good seats...just off the floor if that means anything to you, and they are all excited, and I may go too. But, not to wrestling. A girlfriend of mine and I may ride down with them (did I say Hubby is getting limo for the gang) and go shopping at Opry MIlls Mall. I love the Thai Chicken Salad at Aquarium resturant so I hope she and I go there for supper. I have nothing to shop for but it will be fun to go out with "the girls".
Today we went to Louisville for shoes for the DH, and went to a game store for the boy. We had taken his friend with us so we had some lunch and came back to bring the friend home for evening mass. Off to Wal*Mart to get Hubby's medications, and some groceries, came home made him some dinner and came to visit with you ladies (and gentlemen too).
So we are working on some fun. To be followed shortly by more surgery for DH...ugh.
So, that is my plan for the next 48 hours. What do you all have going on?

A little fun and relaxation could be a great prescription! Good for you guys!
I love Nashville! We used to go every few months before Gracie was born and actually right afterwards for a while. We'd always go to the Grand Ole Opry and then I'd go shopping the next day. If you all are wanting to do a little bar hopping try the Nashville Alley area. Lots of different bars all on the same block.
My weekend is consisting of hunkering down in the recliner with a heating pad, napping, flipping channels and playing online. Not a bad way to spend it t all! I have only had 2 pain pills today! Gonna try and go without tomorrow!

Just another Bariatric Babe!! As I typed this I had a momentary lapse that went on for about 8 hours....
the pre-K classes at our school sang in church this morning. So I was there, with my co-worker. I had 8 kids from my class and my co-worker had 2. Unfortunately that is less than a 1/3. That is somewhat dissappointing but the children try soo hard and that makes it worth it.
I think it is hard for our families to come on Sunday....especially when we had social studies fair on Firday (had approximately 8 there too). And most of them work so the weekends are family time. Finally, I know most of our families have places of worship so asking them to skip their own is somewhat awkward for me, but the children do a charming job!
