Drain out !

The nurse came and took that horrid drain out today.  YEA!!  I have been feeling much better the last couple of days.  Now, I feel awesome.  Then I did something stupid and totally forgot any pain med since the nurse left.  So, I am just a little bit sore.  My son cooked hamburger helper for the family and I was sipping my protein waiting for the pill to kick in.  A very good day.

I haven't been on the boards very much.  I prayers are with everyone.  Thanks again all of you for the support.

Glad your feeling better since the tube is out now. Just take things easy and sip sip sip and get your protein drinks in.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

YEAH!!!!  You are "unplugged" and "unleashed"!    Take it easy as the post-op ouchies come back pretty easily!

the drain was the worst part for me, I can really relate to the relief you must have felt as it came out - you will feel much better now!
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.
