Gosh, don't all of you get sick!  What will the rest of us do without you guys posting?   I hope everyone gets well soon!  By the way, how often do you recommend weighing for someone about 2 months out from surgery?  I don't have a scale that's heavy duty enough to weigh me so I have to wait until I go to my family doc's office and it's been a couple of weeks.  I can't really tell if I'm losing or not, but I think I've slowed way down.

Hugs,
Cindy

Hey Cindy,

How often you weigh yourself is totally up to you and what works for you!  If you tend to obsess it might be better to skip the daily thing....

Dawn and I weigh multiple times a day and there are others who only weigh when they go into the doctor's office.

Once you get to a weight that will let you use a regular scale TREAT yourself as your reward for all the weight loss thus far!

My sweet OH Kentucky ladies - I hope everyone feels better and that all the surgeries go well and that when I get back into town on March 1st, all is good!  I'll probably be lurking the boards, but won't have much time to post next week - leaving tomorrow for DC and the convention.  Everyone, please take care!

Boy, am I glad you posted this Lee Ann.  I didn't realize we had so many people under the weather on here.  I hope all of you start feeling better tomorrow, or your families if they are the ones sick.  I'll keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Lee Ann ,

That was a really sweet and thoughtful post!
Hope you get to feeling better too!
And hey...............I think we are a pretty tough bunch so I don't see us being down long!!!

Cindy,   Do Measurements!  Once a Month on your surgery date!  When you can't get to a scale or the scale doesn't seem to be moving..............those inches may be dropping!!!!!

Have a good night all....................I need to go to bed because I am up WAAAAAY later than my bedtime!  lol

Leslie,

I never did measurements before surgery but I still have a long way to go so I guess I could start now.  It's a good idea, now I just need to hunt down my sewing box and see if my measuring tape is in it!  I know I've come down at least a size -  I'm wearing shirts I haven't worn since a year ago or more and my bras are getting really "loose"!

Thanks for responding to my question!   I love all you gals who post and seem like such good friends.  Hope to get to know you guys soon.

Hugs,

Cindy

Cindy,

It isn't too late to start with the measurements.
Trust me..............you will be shocked !
One place I wished I had started out measuring was my neck.  I never did it but I can see a big difference in that area now too.   I do the basics:   chest, waist, hips, thighs, calves, biceps.
