Tomorrow will be a week.  However, I woke up at my regular time today 5:00 am.  I am feeling really good.  I just want this stinkin drain gone.   I did much better gettin my liquids in yesterday.  I took a walk down the street and back last night with my husband.  It was just nice to be away from the couch and have the wind on my face.   One more day and this drain will be history!!

Thanks for all the support!!

The drain was my least favorite part too and with the home health I had I had to have it in an extra day.  I'm still really tired but am getting around O.K.  I go back to work (school) next week and can see that the couch will be summoning me everyday when I get home.  I'm having trouble getting in all my protein.  I'll be glad for the warm up to get out and walk some too.

I thought I would do something to pick me up so I had my hair colored and covered my grey.  Of course neither my son or husband noticed.  When I asked if something was different they both said, "You got your hair cut".  Guess they won't notice my weight loss until I hit the 100 lb. mark!

Keep up the good work and hope you feel stronger everyday.

Good for you bbinky! I too HATED the drain. It was the worst part of the whole experience. Once you get it out you will no longer feel 'tied' down...lol
Keep up the good work!!

Bbinky........That is such great news!  I'm so happy you are doing so good.  Just make sure you rest when you feel that you need to.  It will all come together for you.  After my surgery, I could only walk a fourth of the block, I decided to add a few more steps each time.  Now I can walk 3 miles each day pretty darn easy.  You just keep sippin and walkin, you'll get there.  So, congrats on a job well done and enjoy your seat on the loser's bench.
