today is better

Hello everyone, I did great in the hospital.  I felt pretty good all day Sunday, but yesterday.  I was just tired and in pain.  Today, I woke up and I just feel a little bit better.  I had no idea that Dr. Shina would not let me shower till the 24th.  OMG!!  I had to wash my hair in the sink yesterday.  That is my only complaint.   Who knew I was so vain.  Doing good.  My family is good.  THANK YOU ALL!!!   I am happy to be a loser.  I would have never been ready without all of you.

Glad your home and doing well!!! No shower until the 24th?? wow.. long time.. Yea I'd be washing my hair in the sink too..LOL...
Take it easy and slow get plenty of rest!!!

As far as the shower...Im sorry but I am that vain and I showered the day I came home despite what Dr. Shina had to say. I just bandaged myself up good with some waterproof bandages and got to scrubbin!!

YEA!!!!!  glad to see you are feeling better.  I am that vain-I showered in the hospital and made the nurses cover my incisions!

Why can't you shower until the 24th?  I haven't had my surgery yet, but when I had my c-sections I could shower the next day.  I'm just curious.

Ok...now not being able to shower until the 24th is just plain mean! I did it the day I got home too! I did a sponge bath at the hospital and got dressed, lotioned etc... before I went down for the swallow test. I was shocked to see everyone else that had surgery that same day there. Most were lookin pretty rough and sicker than dogs. little did I know mine would hit when we stopped at the mall on the way home! Not too smart huh?! 

Glad you are doing well! It's great to be a loser!!!! The shower thing.........I did it in the hospital the morning after surgery. That is something I just have to do each day! Take Care! Leslie
