Famous Dave's
First of all is anyone watching this U of L game? It's embarrassing - I had to turn it off! ARGH!!
So we stopped at Famous Dave's for dinner tonight because Bill wanted some and we were nearby after visiting some friends at the funeral home. I asked if I could order off the children's menu and they had absolutely no problem with it. I got the roasted chicken, which came with one side, so I got the Wilbur beans. Well, after I got them, I realized that they probably had mega sugar in them and was afraid I'd dump (even though I've never dumped before, but sure didn't want to do it while I was at a restaurant). I told the waiter I'd forgotten (which I HAD) that I couldn't have sugar, so he brought me some "country style" green beans instead without making a fuss at ALL and not charging me. They were delicious. So I ate out for $4.99 and it was great!
Just thought I'd share! I've emailed them for their nutritional information, but until I get it (IF I get it), I'll just could 3 oz of generic roast chicken (no skin) for my calories/nutrition.

Mmmmm, roasted chickens sounds so good right now. But I guess it's a few more Months for me. But I gotta keep that in mind
My husband watched the U of L game last night, he was really disappointed for them. He's a UK fan, but roots for UofL when they aren't playing Big Blue. And recently UK has had a lot disappointing games too

Well I live in Florence and Tuesday we stopped at Famous Dave's at 5:30 pm. I ask if I could order the lunch salad, which ended at 5pm and my waitress "Jill" said "no'. I was so mad because they always have let me order the half salad. So I ordered a water and that was it. With the economy you would think they would want what ever business they could get. My husband ate for 9.99 and a water. Needless to say her 2$ tip was still 20% but could have been a lot more.
