I am 1 year out today, and wanna change my life, can you help??
Thanks Katrina,
I am planning on starting on the basics first, I have 10 hours in, lol. I don't know if they will help toward anything at big sandy, I have english 100 , speech, computers and 1 hour of msu life, or whatever they call it now, I heard alot of students have to take that when they start college, not sure about now, do you have a copy of the basics you have to take?
Talk to you soon, and hope to see you soon also,
Lisa

Happy Surgiversary Lisa!
You have had a wonderful year. So glad I have gotten to meet you.
Good for you for going back to school. Since you are leaning toward the medical field...........why not join the Peace Corps and travel with it!??!?! If you want to stay stateside - maybe the Red Cross?? If you go into phlebotomy - maybe work with a mobile blood center???
Could always get a job at a prison in any state - there is definitely some job security there! LOL
There are so many possibilities out there. The sky is the limit!!!!

Hi Lisa,
Congrats on your 1 year mark!!
My PCP told me of a field that is SCREAMING for covering that might interest you....
Ultra sound technicians. He told me that in this area (Louisville) there is a shortage and unless a patient's need for testing is extreme that the wait is usually upwards of two weeks. He said the schooling is fairly short term and the wages are pretty good.
LOL.....one thing NOT to go into if you are looking for a great paying job......EDUCATION......lol...or social work for that matter!! The dude at the check out at Costco the other week told me he cleared $54,000 last year!! That's more than I EVER made in a year with my master's degree in social work! OK, so hehas worked for Costco for 15+ years but he's a CASHIER!!!! OK, nothing wrong with that but when I decide to get back into the working world....i'm going to Costco!!
