I haven't been nervous about surgery.  I am prepared.  I feel more and more like I know what to expect.  It's just my job.  Monday and Tuesday they closed a bunch of locations and let so many good people go.  So, today is Wednesday.  This morning, almost immediately, I find out about one more closing.  It is really hard to focus and do a good job.  I just scary.  Then today is my first day liquid.  Well..... I really could go on and on.  My boss called me, which was interesting since I didn't know who that was.  My boss was let go yesterday.  Anyways,  he called and totally blasted a salesperson that was snotty to me.  I don't know why.  I guess finding out that it was him I was going to have to tell I was off for surgery.  He was being so nice.  I start bawling on the phone with him.  SOOOOOOO EMBARRASSING!!!      Don't be nice to a stressed out woman on liquids.  So anyways.. he totally was cool with my time off and he is totally going to be much more flexible than my old boss about my return if it is half days at first.  So, what a relief.    It was just was too much.

Best part of my day was a pedicure.  My BFF & I treated ourselves.  I am usually not a drama queen.  Whateva!

Thanks for listening, have a good night.

It sounds like it has been a really rough time for you at work.  My husband works at Toyota so we are right there with you.  They have been having a tough time, but still I don't think it's as tough as what you have been going thru.
I don't think you are being a drama queen, last week when I had surgery I was such a walking train wreck, and I didn't even have all of the stuff you are having to deal with.  I think you are doing a great job.  Keep focused on the reasons you are doing this, and you willbe GREAT.

Becky,

Just think this time tomorrow you are giving yourself a Valentine's gift to yourself for a lifetime.  It really will be over before you know it.

Where is your surgery?  If you feel like it I hope you'll come next Thurs. to the support group at Surburban.

You'll have lots of people thinking about you and praying for your continued health so consider that a OH snuggie!

Write and let us know how you are doing.

Hey lady!  Sounds like life is putting a lot of pressure on you right now!   Try and focus on the wonderful journey you are about to embark on for the rest of your life!
We are closing locations right and left as well....and job security is SOOOOOOO scary!  Hang in there and you sound like you have a supportive boss now!

I am so sorry and hope that you are feeling better. I bawled like a baby for 2 days...so I know how you feel. Believe me after the whole ordeal is over you will feel a lot better. It is the stress of not knowing. If you another another shoulder to cry on I am here with jello and popsicles!!!!!

Today was better.  My boss sent me a sweet note note to worry about anything.   Thank you all for the kind words.  Thanks in advance for the prayers.  At least our power didn't go off with the wind yesterday.  I think that would have sent me over the edge.  LOL

My husband is going to call Dawn tomorrow.  Talk to you soon.  I was wondering if I would be able to sleep.  No problems... I am exhausted.  Good Night!!
