Since we found out my husband is getting laid off 2/26 with no hope of a call back, our health insurance will also end that day.   I won't be going for a revision because I won't be able too.  I have severe acid reflux, mild erosion in the esophogal lining.  I get choked quite often. I don't know if thats something with the reflux issues or a rny thing or what but I get choked so easily I have to sip while eating.  I have diabetes again.  I have sleep apnea again and I know I have to get this weight I've regained off. 80 pounds regained give a pound or two.  So, what can I do to kick start my weight loss?  I'm going to cut out all snacking, grazing, try to not drink with meals, get my protein in which I haven't been doing at all, and eat 2oz's 3 times a day like I did in the very beginning.  So I'll be restarting protein shakes, keeping a food journal, exercising period since I haven't done that in months either.  Any tips for me?  Thanks ya'll.
Hugs
Ange
P.S. Do any of those over the counter diet pills work?  Do they help u boost up your metabolism, energy level, do they help with urges to snack?  Something like Hydroxy Cut with Hoodia, Alli, etc?  I've never bought any of them either pre op or post op but I need all the help I can get right now if any of them help in any small way.

I'm really sorry that your husband is getting layed off... The economy right now is so bad!!! I'm really sorry to hear that!!!

Why not make small changes instead of HUGE ones.. take baby steps.... start exercising then add in your water.... I wouldn't stop snacking cause you've got to keep that metabolism fueled, but snack smarter.....  Food journal is so helpful to me.. thats a great idea.... Good Luck... Sounds like your in the RIGHT frame of mind

As far as any of the over the counter diet pills I haven't used any of the ones you mentioned.... Might as your Dr about that... I know that Alli, will make you use the bathroom alot... ( so I've heard..LOL) but other then that I'm not sure...
Good Luck and we are here for support

Hey I know the feeling about being laid off my hubby he is going to be laid off FEB 13 wow friday 13 what a day hu !!! but at least we wont lose any health insurance he is ret from the USAF but we still have to work we have a new house & if we knew the world was going to to be so bad he would have not got out of the service !
about the weight gain I started to gain weight & I started going to Curves but exercising is the key we just have to make ourselfs do it some times I dnt want to but I know I dnt want to go back where I was ,yes start small so you wont fall ,watching how much you eat at a time small meals ,I would not take diet pills I would be so afraid it would mess my pouch up but ask your dr first ,take care & let us know how it goes

Thanks Becky!  I'm sorry your husband lost his job too.  Diet pills have always scared me so I doubt I'll try any of those.
