How was the support group meeting tonight?

I would so have loved to have been there and met everyone!

Well, I have to say the topic was pretty much a waste.  It was a sales pitch for professional shopper/makeover group that works with post-WLS people.  Nice idea and everything but who has a few hundred dollars in expendable cash at this point in the economy?  Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be pampered and shown what looks right on me, I just have more important things to do with my money especially when I'm a housewife who doesn't need stilettos and a derby hat to do the grocery shopping or run the pets to the vet (hmmm...think it would get me a discount?).

NOW, the company was AWESOME as usual.  I have so much fun shooting the breeze with everyone.  Michelle, Vicki B (Guru), myself, Richard (my hubby aka r. Entertainment), Sarah, Dawn, Becky (Binky) were all there last night. 

Hopefully next month your schedule will permit you to come out and play with us!!

   I have to agree with Becca it was a waste. I felt sorry for the guy setting two seats over. He asked me if they were all goingt o be a waste like that one.. Dont get me wrong its a nice idea if you have MONEY to waste but I don't. I cant' beleive they let it take the whole meeting too. was not happy. I brought Vickie so she could ask and listen to questions and then it didnt happen.. so not happy..
  The same people will be at suburban this month too!!

Did they say what next month's topic is going to be? 

Protein taste testing and George wont be there next month.  Not sure who all is going to go since he wont be there.  Maybe we could do our own thing at the same time if we decide to opt out of this one.

 Vicki wants to go next month so I guess I will go... i love seeing you all anyway!
  Besides it will be jennifer and Casey doing everything.. lol

Hmm i was thinking of going to Suburban but if its the Makeover team... Forget it..LOL

I agree with Becka, 500.00 is a bit much and that doesnt include the hair style transformation and makeup.   The one is a Mary Kay Senior Advisor so you get the caught up in the buying Mary Kay another added expense.
