I'm Approved & I've Got a Surgery Date!
Hey, everyone, I've posted on here a little bit and I really appreciate all the guidance. Once Dr. Shina's office submitted my file which was 3 weeks after my consult, I got approved in one day. Yahoo! My date for lap band is March 13. I've been waiting for this for 11 months and I am so thrilled! My Mom was banded December 15 and has lost 26 lbs. I hope I do as well as she has.

Congratulations! I know you must be so excited! That's so cool that you and your mom can do this together. Do you live in the same household? Ugh. I WISH I lived with someone going through WLS too. Ya'll should get silly matching t-shirts or something... lol..
