Why do we need to toast our bread?  I can't remember!  Will it hurt us to eat it untoasted?

Oh God I hope not, I eat all kinds of breads and not always toasted although in this weather toasted is better than not just to keep warm!
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

breads have the possibility of getting stuck so therefore if we toast them it make them more digestible. Hope I got that right......

Because toasted bread is drier and crumblier and does not try and "glue together" everything you might eat with it...regular, non toasted bread can be gummy when sitting in your pouch and get stuck along with whatever else is there...

The soft bread will make "dough balls" in your pouch and they can hurt!  Plus they fill you up and you don't have room for your protein and more nutritious foods!
