I'm BACCCKKK!!!

We haven't had any power or heat for a WEEK!!!  It came on 10 minutes ago and the first thing I screamed was, "I've got dibs on the computer!!"  I'll have to go back through the messages and see what you all have been up to!  I've missed the boards.  The only thing that worked in the house was our gas stove.  So, I hung up a blanket to block off the rest of the house and was cooking something every 2 hours, just to heat up the living room and kitchen to 64 degrees.  A couple of our friends got their power on a couple of days ago, so we were able to go there and sleep two nights and shower until Friday.  Then on Friday, we finally got a generator and hooked up 2 space heaters to it.  It's a good thing I had a family of Eagle Scouts (and worked for the Boy Scouts myself)...those survival skills sure do come in handy!! 
On a side note...I had my 5th weigh in with my PCP.  Only 1 more and we can submit my info to insurance!!  Whoopie!!! 
Okay, missed you all terribly!!  I'm going to get a HOT shower now!

   Kelly I was just getting ready to post a missing in action post on you!! it was so funny the page loaded and there you were.. We still need to hear from ITeach and then we are all accounted for!! we didnt get our electric till monday and let me tell u it STUNK!!
 We had heat though cause we have a wood burning stove! Im like LeeAnn though it gave me the kick in the butt I needed. my house is spotless, well except the living room, I need to dust it.. and I spent some quality time with the kiddo!!!

Well hello stranger! Good to see ya back on! I have cleaned all I can clean and rearranger all I can even. Thank goodness the compressor was full...Dale was able to work on the attic some! I am just about done with my work shop re-vamp and the girls had no school again today!
