I feel like  i am just stuck at the moment and cant  hit any lower numbers on the scales! I know I have lost more inches than pounds but it would be nice to see a change in those numbers too. Has anyone else had this problem. Im 10 months post op and have lost a total of 101 lbs! I still have a ways  to go to my goal weight, not so much to my happy weight tho... I just need someone to be there with me & to know that that person is going through the same thing that i am...

Hi!

Don't be so hard on yourself.  101 lbs in 10 months is AMAZING!!!!  Girl, when was the last time you lost 101 lbs?????????
And if you know you have lost inches, that means more than the lbs.
When I came to stalls (and we all do), I checked the following:

Get the protein in - at least 70 g a day
Leave the carbs alone
Exercise more or differently..........gotta trick your body sometimes.

No doubt you will break this stall and get to that goal weight soon!

I haven't been there, i'm just gonna have surgery tomorrow.  But I can tell you that from where I sit, 101 pounds sound like an impressive amount of weight.  I keep reading about all kinds of people who lost a little slower than others but who still got to their goals.  I know that it's hard, and I'm sure I will be right there with you in a few months, but hold on and keep watching your protein and your exercise.  I still think it sounds like you have done a great job!!!

Damn girl...101 in 10 months! That is just awesome! Yes you may be at a stall...your body is still playing catch up and with that big of a loss it may take a little bit of time but geeeezzzz...I gotta say I am jealous! If you have hit that number you must being doing everything right....it just time to sit and that point and catch your breath. Have you tried increasing your water, protein, and exercise? If so, then be patient...if ya can. You will start to move again. Probably when you least expect it! Look at the post below yours....she seems to be at that same point and maybe can offer you mopre insight. Leslie is another good one to talk to as well! She posted above me. There are alot of RNY'ers on here...hope they can lend you more insight than I am able to.

Right now, I'm going through the same thing.  I go down 2 pounds, then up 2 pounds.  I am counting my calories (as my doctor ordered).  I have upped them some and then lowered them some and still the same thing.  This week I am adding 2-3 more days of exercise and see if that works.  I'm doing a lot of water this week too and trying to cut out most of the sugar I've been eating.

I know it's frusterating but look how far you've come already.  There will be a point when the weight starts coming off again.  Hang with it because it's worth it.

Ugh!!!!!  I am doing the SAME THING and have been for about 6 weeks..The scale registers +/- the same six pounds (water I am sure)...I am so frustrated because I dropped 40 pounds in the first 8 weeks post-op and now I am just ssssssstttttttttttaaaaaaaalllllllllliiiiiiiiiinnnnnngggggg (stalling -really drawn out!)  I am kicking the protein up, dropping the carbs, even increasing my calories a little (1200) and exercising like my life depends on it.   I think everyone really has it right here...you have to go through a catch up phase before your body decides to let go of the extra again...remember; our bodies have spent quite a while thinking storing fat is what it was supposed to do....so it is going to take time to "teach the old dog new tricks"

While I'm only a little over a month out, I know how you feel. Depression has definitely set in hard here.
