  dude i currently residing at the neighbor's house.. They have a pretty bay mare that He is falling in love with and will not want to come home!! lol

Well welcome back to civilization! We were only without power for 9 hours...long enough for all of us to get lovely colds or bronchitis or both! This sh*t sucks! We kept the house closed up tight and the temps only dropped 5 degrees ao we were lucky for that! I was just boasting about how I dodged the flu bugs, viruses, etc...this year. me and my big mouh!  I have decided my kids just are clueless when it comes this stuff! when I told Sarah we would not have heat and to bundle up, she said.." Well we have two space heaters just plug them in until it comes back on!"
get my drift folks! And this is my A honor roll student....scary! We have snow flurries now...wonder how much accumulation. they already have the schools on a two hour delay.....so much for a peaceful day off. I did get everything cleaned up down there and am now rearranging my workshop. Not a whole lot to do with no power so I cleaned out my desk, files, etc....Dale was going to light a fire in the grill anyway so I just had him burn all the important stuff....We are not allowed to burn in town unless it is a grill, etc...so thats what we did. I dug out the cast iron cookware I had up the cabinet and used it to cook on the grill with...it was great! We had chinese leftovers and they warmed up perfectly! That is about as roughing it as I get folks!

Glad all is well with you. We go****er yesterday and electricity today @ 1:30pm.  Trashed all the food in the refrigerator but we were able to put a small generator on freezer in garage so we saved most of those items.  Hope all is well with you and everyone else up your way.
