New me, New Year, New house
who would have thought that this time last year I was so sick and was waiting impatiently for my life changing surgery and praying everything would go well. Well it did and my life has changed so dramatically since then. My blood sugar levels were in the normal range when my levels were tested less than 12 hours after surgery. I can play with my kids, actually I can sit on them too. I can bend over, touch my toes and breathe at the same time. I can look down in the shower and see my naughty bits and not my stomach.
What you guys don't probably know about me is that I am an artist and we have been looking for a house where I can set up a full studio. It has been a long search, and it has finally come to an end!!!!
Well the time has come and we are making our big move. We finally found the right house, our closing is sometime this week and we will be moving for the next couple of weeks. Wish me luck, send me prayers and good vibes

THAT IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! Such a gorgeous house....Vickie I am soooo jealous, that is my EXACT dream house!; love the mature trees in the front and the dormers! I AM SOOOO JEALOUS!

On a side note....
Are you going to Becka's? My daughter is a very gifted artist and is wanting to make a career of it (yes, I am a proud mom, but no I am not exaggerating her talent). I am always trying to "hook" her up with professionals to talk to and explain this is not an easy path to choose etc....

Wow Vicki,
The house is gorgeous. I vote for a summer picnic there. The main thing is it looks like no big trees directly around it so if we have this freak of nature weather again in our lifetime you won't have damage to the house from broken limbs. Is it still in PeeWee Valley?
We want to see the ever shrinking you my petite flower but post some of your art too. Hey maybe you could do a mural on the order of the Last Supper of all of us sitting at a table taking eraser sized bites of food and sporting designer clothes and dazzling hairdos and bling.
Good luck to you and I must say I'm glad I don't have to pack all of my stuff. It will be fun once it thaws to plant the garden and get everything put up in the house. Promise to post more pictures once you get things organized.

Hmmm......Somehow I don't think this set of OC housewives will be making the waves that those others do!

I mean yeah, I'm a kept woman and all but it's definately NOT glamorous!
They could film me washing socks and underwear and cleaning litter boxes!!
No wait! There's the occasional PTA meeting with my arch-nemisis whom I barely tolerate since she mocked my child (oh yes she did and Richard almost knocked her upside the head for it!!).....
Oh yeah, they could film me on double coupon day too!!

Just another Bariatric Babe!! glamorous - hmmmm this morning we had a dramatic search for shoes at the last minute before the bus came,
I ran out of cheddar cheese and had to use smoked provolone on the kids lunch sandwiches as well
I am getting my hair done today though, but being filmed with hair foils in gives me the shivers - some things just need to be private
