Here's some pics of the worst of our downed trees.  Hopefully, all this will melt and we can get the darn things cut down and burned ASAP!  Someone has a party to plan....

This tree was mostly dead anyway but we left it up for the racoons

Behind this mess is the fire pit...atleast we won't have far to haul it!

I like the chain on the generator!

I did hear stories of the generator thieves out here though so a very smart idea.  We didn't do the generator thing.  We just abandoned ship!
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

That storm was the worst. We didn't have power for 4 days. Hope all is getting better over your way. Has your power been restored? Hope so! Stay warm....

Nope no power yet!  Today is day six!  Genny(ator) is getting a workout!!  It seems like we are the last small pocket in our area to still be without power.  I did drive down the opposite direction of our road (the way I don't normally go) and I can tell there's still work to be done as the power lines are still laying on the ground.  We have our fingers crossed for today though.  My laundry is piling up and we can't cook!  I'm headed to DQ for the daughter and Starbucks for daddy and I after this!

we just got our electric back on today, and the chain on the generator is a smart idea, they said someone in owensboro thought their generator was messed up because it started getting cold in the house, the man went outside and someone had took the mans lawnmower started it up set it beside the generator so it would roar and stole the generator, thieves are getting more clever all the time,

hope we all survived the storm, and hope we dont get another one like this, this year!!
