I can breath again!! I have Internet back!! 
I still have no power but with the generator we are "roughing it" comfortably. Just call me Lisa Douglas, Dahling......
We learned tonight that the microwave blows the breaker on the generator so that means we will be eating cold items or ordering out until we get electricity back. Damn, no cooking for me, not sure I can handle that..... 
I'm a little concerned about our party on the 7th. I'm not ready to call it off yet but if we don't get some electricity back by Wednesday I might have to. At this point, I'm thinking about nixing the bonfire portion and just go with the house party part of things. I'm also considering buying one of the patio fire bowls so we can still have a little fire! I'll keep everyone updated on what's going on but I AM NOT YET CANCELING THE PARTY.
Oh yeah, I FINALLY got my surgery date!! It's 2/20/09. That's a Friday. I picked a Friday since Doc Larson told me to plan a 23 hour stay at the hospital. That way mom can pick up Gracie from school Friday afternoon and keep her until Sunday for me so that when I come home on Saturday I can shuffle around and not be on mommy duty for that first day. He is going to take the gall bladder and not just Pebbles and Bamm Bamm and he is panning on doing it laproscopically.
Dawn texted me this afternoon. They got their power back this morning so returned the generator to her uncle and when they got home.....the power was out again!!! Haven't heard from her since so I'm not sure what her status is right now. Anyone else talk to her today that might know anything more??

Im not too far from Dawn...maybe 10-15 miles. Our electric went back off yesterday for about an hour then came back on and it did the same thing today...was off for about 2 hrs then came back on. I ran down to the gas station at the end of the road and some electric workers were there and they said they periodically shut everyone off in order to bring another line up of houses that have been powerless...so in that case I wasnt too mad about losing it for an hour or so as long as we all have power in the end. Hopefully that is the case with Dawn also.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the results of your gall bladder surgery. I had mine done at the same time as my DS and it relieved so many aches and pains I had that I really had no clue were gallbladder related and I didn't even have any stones, just sludge.
Really hope the party is still on, but understand if you need to cancel - if you do decide to go ahead and do it, you need to just delegate more and let us fix the food and bring it. Let us know what you need. Actually if you need showers or anything or just wanna come and hang out cause you need a little TV time you are welcome, just call me. We are surrounded by boxes and remodelling but we can always welcome people over! Especially for the superbowl - I'm making chicken wings, artichoke dip and who knows what else I'll come up with.
