Roll call: Everyone OK?

In Glasgow, we are okay.  We had 1/2 inch of ice yesterday and about 1/2 inch of snow today.  We never lost power but have a bunch of people without electricity in the county.  They have a shelter opened at a church for people without electricity.  After the ice storm in 94, we had gas heat put in-some that runs with electricity and some without.  We also put in city water as we were on a well and didn't have water the whole time the electricity was out.

Hope everyone is doing okay out there.  I'm really looking forward to spring.

EDIT:  We do have a bunch of tree branches down in the yard but that is nothing compared to everyone else.

I am one of the lucky ones that has power (for now)...there are over 30,000 in my area without.  We have about 5 inches of snow, then over and inch of ice and another 6 inches of snow on top.  One of the weather men this morning called it a SNOREO.  The highways are shut down, we have lost trees and we are on a Level 3 emergency (meaning they will arrest you for trying to drive).  We got hit HARD and I am literally iced into my house-I can't get doors or garage open at all.   (My poor dogs...but so far they are "holding" it)  Hopefully as the day goes maybe I can get a door open.  thinking a blow dryer might get it open later.  I am watching my power lines droop lower and lower and my neighbor's tree has come over for a backyard visit.
Our Louisville office closed-but our Cincinnati office stayed open so those of us who didn't go to work in Cincinnati have to take vacation days.

Well, we lost power not too long after my previos post on here.  We are still without power but dear dear hubby hooked up the generator and the cable isn't out so that means I HAVE INTERNET!!!  For now that is.....

I'm getting ready to call and find out if Dominos is open since we have the neighbor kids over keeping warm and playing Wii with Gracie.

Back later (I hope)!!

Im right off of Old Shepardsville Road and we have ice a plenty!
Luckly we still have power. Some of my friends who are only a few minuetes away lost power around 2am. So Im blessed to still have power.

Hamilton County, Ohio we got 4 inches of snow then ice then 4 more.  My snow blower is on the fritz and Sears can't get out til Friday. We are in a level 3 Snow Emergency.  Have power but no Direct TV.  I have to dig out the hot tub again.  Did it last night.  It's great to hot tub with all the snow feels like your at a resort.  But we are doing well in Cincy. OK I finally have power for now anyway.   The neighbors big tree limbs fell on my car but cant asses the damage cause of the ice.  The daughter and sil and kids came over and have shoveled again and put down ice melt so I don't fall.   We are going to walk over to their house for dinner later and a couple games of Wii and proably several ****tails I am sure.

Bob and daughter took her 4 wheel drive and went to Kroger and picked up some items to hold us over things that dont require heating up if we lose power again.  At least we can sit stuff out in the cold to refrigerate or freeze  lol  if we lose power again

Ok....I am here! We got power back on at 3 this afternoon. Aubrey and baby slept through half of it in her room since we had closed it off to keep it warm in there. They have both had bad colds so this did not help at all! Sarah and I cleaned out my files, desk, etc......Dale lit the grill to burn the stuff for me and put on the scraps of wood from the attic remodel and so I cooked on the grill with my cast iron cookware I invested in this past Sept when this happened. It was good to eat something hot! So we did at least manage warm food and thirst! The last thing to come back on was the internet...of course! just got it an hour ago! The house only dropped 5 degrees and we just layered the clothes on. We had made arrangements for Aubrey and Braedyn to go to her boyfriends if it got any colder in here and he was actually on his way to come get her when it came on. Kinda glad cause they have no business being out in this!  So we are here, warm and fed!  glad to know Vicki is up and running again as well as everyone else! Dawn is reading by candle light but warm.

All is well here in Crothersville.  Have about 6 inches of snow on the ground and ice on top of that.  No power outages for us here so far.... school is cancelled for tomorrow already though.
Please give me strength being shut in with the husband this long>>> LOL  we need to give Darrell a nickname.  He is driving me crazy!!! He likes being busy with work.  So he starts piddling around attached to my hip....EEK ... makes me   Ok... breathe Leah... LOL
The dogs aren't wanting to go in the snow.. my pom is too little.  The snow is up to her eyeballs!!  So funny to watch them.
The snow was pretty for about an hour or so... but now it can all go away and I will be happy.
Glad everyone is ok and keeping warm.

Blessings to you all, Leah

We are okay here in Jeffersonville. We live in a somewhat new development so there are no trees.  Usually I hate the fact that there are no trees, but this week I am very grateful there aren't!  We still have power (thank God!).  Our streets have not been plowed so we have not been out anywhere, but luckily we have plenty of food and water.  So all in all, we are good.

I hope you are all warm, well and have plenty ti eat and drink.
