Roll call: Everyone OK?
Here in Oldham Co were are fine. We lost many many huge segments of bigger trees but none on the house of the pole barn thankfully. Standing out on the patio just a few minutes ago we heard tree branches cracking, breaking and crashing to the ground. Very eerie!
We did lose power somewhere along the night as the clocks are flashing but the inside temperature is where it was set on the thermostat so it must have been short-lived.
OK, everyone, please check in and let me know you're OK. I'm most concerned about Lee Ann since she mentioned they had no heat source if they lost the electricity.
I'm going back to bed for a bit now....under the blankets sounds like the PERFECT place to be this morning!

Pewee Valley is ok too except for these ancient trees. I have been outside for about an hour this morning taking photos, it is beautiful out. I plan on going out again once the sun comes up a little more. I can hear trees and branches cracking and breaking and the creepy sound of ice sliding off and hitting the ground. Our power keeps flashing off but so far so good it has always come back on again. My toes are frozen so I think I will go and warm them up before my next trek outside.

Some of the Buckner area is without power this morning. My friend that lives in Heather Hills (behind the golf course) is without power and they are on their way over here to borrow our back up generator. Richard has two generators so we have one for us too if it comes to it.

Our power is going off and on,but so far we are lucky..
So im turning the furnace up and fixing a big breakfast to keep it warm in here.
DH is locked down at the armory so its me and the boys.
We have 5-6 inches of snow now ice and its snowing again.............

Here's a staus report for those that I have cell numbers that I can text:
Dawn: No power but they are OK, they have a wood burning stove....hubby and kids bouncing off the walls....no report on Duke
Lee Ann: No power and no heat. Power came back on for about 3 or 4 minutes but is now back out again. Good thing is it seems like they are close to getting them back on. Line workers are trying!
Vicki B: No heat and no power.....Haven't gotten anymore text after that. I'll keep trying her to see how things are through the day.
Anyone else have other phone numbers to check on more people?
