Paypal...

I just wanted to let you all know that my Paypal account was hacked into yesterday.  Jerks did 10 different transactions with a grand total of $2950 to come out of my bank account (which I don't have!).  I caught it this morning with all the emails in my inbox.  Nothing has posted to my bank account yet, but my bank is being super helpful.  I got Paypal to email me a letter saying that I didn't autherize these transactions and I forwarded it on to my bank.  Now I have to wait and see what was caught by Paypal and what is actually going to go through.  It should all post tomorrow.  I then have to go to the bank first thing in the morning and fill out fraud forms.  My bank said nothing in my account is going to bounce and I won't have to pay any fees (thank goodness)!  I just wanted you all to be aware, as I know some of you on here use Paypal.  Nothing like this has happened to me before and I am sick to my stomach!

After reading that and before posting this I went and checked my paypal account.  There's been no activity on it since before Christmas so I guess I'm good.  I'm still sorting through the site trying to find the place where I can change my password but haven't found it yet.

Sounds scary but thankfully it sounds like you've got your bases covered.  I'm now off to open my outlook and retrieve emails which I haven't done in about a week....this could take a while....
