Good Morning.... I am up grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

OK I don't have to work and worry about driving on this ice and 6 inches of snow but I still get nervous at night when there are warnings out so I have had very little sleep.  We are staying home warm and by the fireplace.   I may make a big breakfast as the daughter and son inlaws work was cancelled so may have the family over for breakfast they just have to slip and slide across the street to our house on foot lol

Be safe today anyone that has to get out in this stuff.

Well at least you don't have to babysit! I am headed to the basement to hide in my workroom! Braedyn slept straight through last night so we all got to sleep as well. I was up at 5:oo. Why I have no clue. I told the girls last night to shut off their alarms cause there would be no school. Aubrey and B were finally up at 6 and Sarah at 8. This is weather that I love to cook in so I may do rotisserie chicken.....yummy!  We are up to 5 inches and sleet/freezing rain moving in. I ain't going no place! Our roads look like crap...our county trucks suck! I am on a main hwy (135) and they have not even done a very good job. Dale said we did not have a truck down our street until 4:30 or so. he was up and down all night. He is shoveling now. I think he just wants a reason to be outside and playing in the snow! Stay warm all! I am going into hiding for a little bit!

   I have been up and down.. Todd went in and took sandy to work.. I really wish they had both just stayed home but she cant afford it.. Im hoping I can talk him in to coming home early so Its not dark when hes driving!!! So I stayed awake till he sent me a text that he was there dafe and sound.. My poor horse is covered in ice, he wont go in a shelter for anything.. scared of everything!!
  Our road only gets plowed by us or the neighbors... we dont get county attention.. so far we have electric.. hoping we keep it!!

Good morning all.  No school here today either.  The snow is pretty to look at but that is about it.  I am freezing as usual.  That is so funny to me because I was always someone who was hot all the time.  And except for the occasional hot flash, I am cold all the time.
Has anyone had bladder problems after their hysterectomy?  I am beginning to get a little worried on that matter.  I already take detrol la and that used to help.  But in the last couple of days I am feeling like I have to go allllll the freakin' time.  So a trip to the gyn may be in order here soon. To get things checked out.  I have read a little about a prolasped bladder and I have several of the symptoms.  Soooooo... we'll see.
I hope everyone stays warm and safe inside.  And for those who have to get out.. like my hubby Darrell, please be careful! 

   No School in Hardin county or at my Christian School. So, my son who was out sick yesterday misses another day  (ironically that happened the last time he was ill). I hear we have more wintry mess coming in to follow. So, the children may be out again tomorrow down here in the southern part of the KY board.
   We are doing the stay in and chill activities today.  We went to Sam's and stocked up over the weekend so we do not have to leave.  But, my dear B-I-L is staying with us and he has to go down to Ft. Knox...he is a soldier, and had to be in. He was on a delay so that was good.  I just asked him to be very careful. He will luckily be home before dark.

I got to sleep in this morning - actually I am still in my robe and slippers right now.  I guess I'd better get up and get some laundry done and maybe pack a few boxes.

I am jealous of you all that got snow!!! We only have ICE and Sleet YUCK! A Mess, Hubby had to be at work at 6am.. I think he left at 5;30... made him text me when he got there.... We had no power from about 5am until 9;45 am.... so the kids thought that was cool, walking around with their flashlights....
Oh well, Guess we'll be stayin in and keepin warm!!!

We don't have any snow either...just sleet and ice.  We are suppose to be getting a mix of sleet/ice/and then snow later today.  3 - 6" on top of what we got last night.  So, I'm sure no school tomorrow and possibly Thursday.  Crap...that means we'll be going to school until June.  No big deal, really, I work year round at the school anyway...but it sure does mess up our summer programs.  (Hard to plan for it ahead of time and then it cuts it short.)  Now that we're home from the hosiptal, we aren't planning on going anywhere!  Might slip my pj pants back on and get comfy!

Well, sounds like we are all going to stay in and be toasty today!

We've got 3 or so inches out there from the looks of it.  I did have to sweep out the mouth of the garage after we let the dogs out to eat and potty.  It drifted in and was blocking the sensors so the door wouldn't come down otherwise.  It's mostly the powdery type of snow right now.  Ice pellets are coming down now though.

Richard did have to go out for a while today as there were a couple services calls that couldn't be put off.  He is planning on having a short day though so he can get home before the second round of snow and ice starts though.  He also opted to take one of the vehicles that had 4X4 in it too so that's good.

I'm making a huge pot of chili and letting it simmer all day.  I wanted to make chunky veggie (double) beef soup but he's not a fan of that and I simply can't make a small batch of that for the life of me!  There are some things I still make like I'm cooking for an army!   That's the way I make my chili too but we will eat that twice a day until its gone! 

The only thing on my agenda today is to do a little PTA/homeroom parent correspondence and calling Dr. Larson's office to check on their progress for getting me a surgery date for delivering Pebbles and Bamm Bamm.  They have been very quiet lately so that's a good thing!

There are some other ladies on here who need to be making doctor phone calls too....how's that going???

Well, I'm sure we will all be one here off and on all day long so I'll talk to you guys later!!

yeaaaa well this is my second time getting up for the day lol,got up at 5 to see if school or not so I went back to bed ,I am going to make a pot of chili & just stay in today we have 5 inches of snow *& now it is icing I dnt like ice ,maybe after while we will go sleigh ridding last time I did it I thought I was going to die but at least I went down the hill & was not weighed down by weight , enjoy life I say after weight loss I never went sleiding before now it is fun I feel like a 41 year old kid lol ,everyone be safe & have a great day
