snow & ice

well got up this am to go to work & we have no school yea snow day ,I say that now but when we have to go all summer I wont be happy lol!!!! we are going to have a storm warning tonight we are suppose to get 3 to 4 inches wow everybody becarefull today ,I am going back to bed lol

we have a 2 hour delay.i dont get to sleep in, the kid made sure i got up.

THANK God for a teenager lol

 No snow day for me today (Bullitt Co.) but if we get as much snow as predicted we may not go the rest of the week.  I'm surprised we have school.  I thought we might have a delay.

My six-year-old woke me up at about 5am with not feeling good.  Found out we are closed for school as well (Oldham Co.) while rocking with her and flipping channels.  I would much rather have a snow day as opposed to a sick day though since we missed a whole week in September so today actually works out in our favor.

Looks like a bigger area will have a snow day tomorrow though!

Now if only the tummy bug named Ralph would make a quick exit....

 We are on a 2 hour delay here and I am nervous as heck cause I dont like driving on the stuff and I have to go for a fill this morning and hubby can not take me cause the grandkids need supervision  imagine that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So pray for me as I try to drive on the roads  grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I was talking with my mom a few minutes earlier and she made itto work fine.  She said the roads were basically just wet.  She was surprised when I told her about the schools being closed or delayed.  She comes in from Mt Washington/Taylorsville area to GE.  Not sure about the other side of the river though.  Hopefully things will be good for you!

I think we could have done a 2 hr delay but our school will not do one because we have so many kids on the bus for over a hour& half as is so it would not make since time as they get to school it is time to almost go home
