St Joseph East?
HI! I'm new here and just starting to research WLS.
And in researching St. Joe I read on their website about their medically supervised weight loss program.
As I'm not ready for surgery (still have alot of thinking to do), and from all I've read so far I'll have to do a medically supervised diet as part of the insurance process if I decide to have the surgery.
I wanted to see about going through their program, as I'm learning. I'm desparate to start the weight loss process.
Could anyone here tell me what it involves? Liquid diet, calorie limits, or prescription pills?? And does insurance generally cover this (Dr. visits etc.)?
If not what is it cost wise?
LOL! I know I asked a ton of questions! But Any info on this would be greatly appreciated, I plan on calling a # I have tomorow. But it would be nice to hear from someone that has already gone through this.
Thanks in advance and
Kat
Ps. I have Bluegrass Family Health Insurance.
