OK....I know I suck with the accountability posts anymore and I'm sorry!! LOL...funny how I started the damn things over a year ago myself isn't it??
It's hard to measure what I've actually eaten today since it's been 2 bites of this and 2 bites of that lately. I'm just going to list it in a column:
- coffee latte (8oz milk, 8oz coffee, S/F syrup, 3 Splenda)
- maybe 8oz chocolate milkshake (Red Robin)....I didn't order though the waitress brought the "extra" in the blender to me and Richard...it was destiny...
- 2oz piece of fried fish, 3 steak fries, 4 bites of chicken fajita salad (Red Robin)...I ordered the salad but rich's fish looked better so we brought the salad home for dinner!
- 100 calorie pack doritos
- 3 crackers with cream cheese spread
- 2oz fried fish, 2 steak fries, 3 bites of chicken fajita salad, 3 bites naked chicken
burrito from Q'doba (umm...it was leftover night tonight)
Hurry up with my surgery date to get this gallbladder out Dr. Larson so I can get a blasted fill before I start putting weight back on!!

I bought a pair of Born shoes yesterday too!! They were on the clearance racks at Macy's for $44.97 when they were normally $92.00!! It was a choice between those or a pair of Merrells but cheap won out since the Merrells were $65 and I have something similar to them already. I did try on a REALLY REALLY cute pair of brown high heeled granny boots but even on the clearance rack they were $108 and I didn't want to blow my whole shopping trip on one pair of shoes. I hit the clearance racks at the Gap, Sears (Lands End), and Macy's yeterday and got some killer deals.
Here's my Born shoes. I like that they are casual but kinda dressy so I can do my PTA mom thing and look less dumpy but be comfy! My quandry now is do I wear them with socks, stocking or with naked feet....I never can figure out what to do with ballerina style shoes.....
These are the Merrells I almost bought (they were brown though):

Orignal price 249.00 on sale for 109.00. I have several pairs of Clarks like you bought above, I usually wear "trouser socks" with them. They are sooooooo comfortable! I also bought these:
to wear with my suits for work. Some people are clothes shoppers...I am a SHOE-Aholic...is there a shoe-buyer's anonymous?

OHHH.....I like them both but the heels are supercute!!
I don't buy heels very often being a stay at home mommy I have no where to wear them sadly. I guess I could be like June Cleaver and wear my heels and pearls while va*******
I am becoming a shoe-snob myself. I find that the better brands simply fit better and last longer. I am all about the clearance racks though as I still can't bring myself to pay full price for much on myself....Now, let me loose inside Gymboree for Gracie and I can do real damage since I forget to look at the tags....

I was the same way with my kids, and still am with Erin, but she is SO hard on clothes I just can't see paying high dollar for anything of hers (paint, clay, sculpturey stuffs spilled and wiped all over everything she owns....). She prefers "vintage" anyway (Goodwill... all about the bottom line ). Since I stand a lot at work and have to give presentations to large groups I "justify" (read in between the lines...rationalize) really good shoes...however after having foot surgery a few years ago; I really see and feel the difference between Payless and Clarks/Borns etc...also they last longer and stay nice looking much longer.
Hey. June looked pretty HOT to Ward when he came home and she was in her hoop skirt, heels and pearls!
